I really need to update this blog a little more haha. I will be attempting to add posts in chronological order in the weeks to come. So, you may find some new content showing up dated before this post. It just means I am setting it to be posted as if it were in the past. I do want to keep everything in order on here, haha.
Meanwhile, Zach turns 10 months here soon, and it is so exciting that he will be having his first Christmas before we know it! I have already got his gifts, and it's taking all my strength not to just let him have them now haha. It's not as if he would remember any of it anyway, but all the same, I suppose I should wait.
This kid has about 4 or 5 teeth now, which is crazy and adorable because he can now bite of bits and pieces of stuff off to "chew" on. He really enjoys feeding himself a lot of finger foods, and I have found that he really isn't a picky eater at all! That fact right there is awesome because it makes it that much easier to feed him all sorts of new things without having to worry about him not liking it or him spitting it all over the place or throwing a fit. Thank God for giving me such an easy little guy to deal with every day :)
In other news, he sits up all by himself, and he likes to reach for things and walk around with some help from mom or dad. He loves when you talk to him and play with him. He's very interactive, and he is also beginning to understand some of what we say to him, which is a whole new level of exciting right there! He also says words, but I don't think he really means what we would think he means by them. For example, when he says "mom," I believe it really means something along the lines of, "I am happy!" And when he says "da da," I believe he's saying something like, "I'm am having fun right now!"
His very first experience with spaghetti was this evening for dinner, and he absolutely loved it :) Such fun watching him suck in the cut-up noodles with sauce haha. Gotta love this kid!
